Frequently Asked Questions
Slip #4 at the Cheboygan County Marina, located at 1080 North Huron Street, Cheboygan, MI 49721 — about 15 miles south of Mackinaw City. Parking is available in front of the marina.
We offer morning and afternoon trips at 6:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to load gear and meet your captain.
Trips average 4–5 hours depending on fishing and the number of guests.
Yes — after the trip we clean and bag your fish for you. We also provide water; feel free to bring anything else you'd like to eat or drink.
Anyone 17 years of age or older needs a Michigan fishing license.
A $100 deposit is required to reserve your charter — pay through our online calendar or by giving us a call. The remaining balance is due the day of the trip. We prefer cash or Venmo to avoid credit card fees but do accept cards. Gratuity can be added to the final payment.
We will fish, rain or shine. If the weather is questionable, we will call you to discuss, and the captain will make the decision to cancel. If you don't hear from us, assume your charter is a go and we will be fishing. If we cancel due to weather, we will refund your deposit or switch your date.
